We offer small-scale accommodation in a handcrafted log cabin set within the heritage landscape of Karula National Park, where nature and traditional ways of life are part of everyday living. Here, a holiday is not about consumption, but about experience – one that helps restore balance between yourself and the world around you.
For us, the smoke sauna and hot tub are more than services – they are living traditions and rituals of calm that bring together warmth, stillness, and presence.
The smoke sauna has been part of life in these lands for generations. It is not merely a place to wash, but a way to restore balance – in both body and mind. The slow heating, the steam, stepping outside to cool down, and the quiet all create a rhythm that is unhurried.
The hot tub, too, is a moment with yourself – warm water, fresh air, and the surrounding nature gently bring you back to a simpler state of being.
We operate with a consciously small environmental footprint, valuing local materials, slowness, and sustainability. For us, this is not just a place, but a way of life – one we are glad to share with our guests.
Cabin
The log cabin is set in the heart of nature, where forest meets open landscape. Here, you are surrounded by quiet and privacy.
The cabin is handcrafted and furnished with sustainability in mind. Sleeping areas are arranged across two levels, and the terrace features a private outdoor shower. Everything you need for simple living and preparing meals is provided.
You can also make use of the summer kitchen, BBQ area, and relaxation space.
This is a place to slow down and follow your own rhythm.
Smoke sauna
Our smoke sauna is not an attraction — it is a living heritage.
We heat the sauna slowly and mindfully, following old traditions, honoring fire, water, and silence. This is a ritual, not a place for rushing.
In the sauna, time seems to stand still – the body relaxes and the mind finds calm.
We share stories and knowledge that have lived on these lands for generations.
It is an experience that cleanses more than the body – it helps restore balance.
Hot tub
The hot tub is a quiet moment with nature – warm water, fresh air, and surrounding stillness.
It is not something to “do,” but a state to arrive at.
Inspired by Japanese bathing traditions, the hot tub creates space for slowing down, presence, and restoration.
Water, nature, and silence work together.
